View Full Version : An Arrest in School

Zidane
04-29-2004, 03:37 PM
Yesterday, a female student (17) came to school with a gun, and a clip in her backpack. After 2nd period in the corner of the crowded hallway, pointed it at someone she was talking to, a teacher noticed it first, and soon everyone started screaming. A group of people (including me, students and administrators) distracted and even restrained her when the klutz dropped her clip while trying to put it in. Then the rent-a-cop came in, and arrested her. Very, very scary stuff. The news crew came in yesterday, and today, and it made headlines in the paper. Appearantly she wanted to threaten someone who hasn't paid their drug dues, and she thought bringing the gun into school would be a good idea. .:evil2:Stupid idiot. If she actually killed someone, that would've been another death in the school, two years in a row.

.:Mouldy Punk:.
04-29-2004, 03:39 PM
damn...you don't see that everyday.Did any one get hurt?

Zidane
04-29-2004, 03:42 PM
Only some of the people that got trampled in the hallway... That's almost every day though. :p No serious injuries.

.:Mouldy Punk:.
04-29-2004, 03:44 PM
yeah people get trampled on here....especially the little people he he he:p

I was about to ask how she managed to get a gun....then I remembered the legal in the US, so that pretty much answers that question.

But how dumb is it to wave it around in a crowded corridor....thats just plain stupid.

Mike22k
04-29-2004, 04:46 PM
man, and u grabbed her yeah? scary stuff. nothing like that ever happens in britain except for that Dunblane thing.

@ mouldy we've got stairs about 2 metres wide cos the dumbass who built the building got the calculations wrong! and its totally funny at the end of school cos everyone gets crushed! specially the little folk! hehehe! glad i aint little!

that's crazy zidane....

at my high school one teacher got arrested for sleeping with a student then killed himself, one teacher died while tyring to rescue someone in a river, and around 20 kids (8 my friends) were stupid and died of heroin od's. my cousin got shot in the head while some were on it. high schools are getting bad man...

I saw the article in the newspaper this morning. I was like 'HOLY SHIT!!! BOUT TIME SOMEONE BROUGHT A GUN TO SCHOOL IN A WHILE!!!'
See, I brought my brother's boomstick to school, but I kept it concealed.:D

teh_sheeep
04-29-2004, 08:08 PM
i accidentally brought a bladed file into school once... that woulda been bad...

in my friends cousin's school theres been i think 3 deaths over the last 4 years... one kid brought in a gun, and actually shot somone. another suffocated in a locker. i cant remember the third. i know its a messed up school...

yet another tale... me and my friend were skating at the mall near my house, and these kids were there with a zippo... now i know some zippo tricks so i was showing off and then i started to joke around about running away with the zippo... so i give it back and then as were skating away we see in her bookbag a gun... holy shizzle... the funniest thing was that they were sitting literally under a light post with a camera facing right at them... yet the security came after us to yell at us to get out...

BC Rich
04-29-2004, 08:18 PM
Oh I miss my school days now... yeah one time I brawled at a mall and we fell down an escalator. Luckily, I didn't get arrested. BTW - At my old school, three people got arrested for possesion for marijuana. Kids these days...

wow.. that should've suck dude...

1 Teacher has been killen in the Netherlands last year, by some guy (called Murad I thought.. whatever) with a gun aswell

Zidane
04-30-2004, 01:48 PM
Holy shit, there were extra clips in her backpack. It's in today's paper, 30 extra full bullets in her bag. This certainly defeats her, 'I was only trying to defend myself!' claim.

.:Mouldy Punk:.
04-30-2004, 01:54 PM
 she was out to do some crazy slaughter.

Theres been 3 deaths in my skool in the last 2 years. One suicide and two people crashed a stolen car at 80+ mph....and died :( its a shame their dead but they shouldn't have been so stupid

Don
04-30-2004, 02:10 PM
I don't think there has ever been a dead student/teacher in our school.

it's possibly harder to get a gun in the Netherlands then in the USA

.:Mouldy Punk:.
04-30-2004, 02:11 PM
o yeah forgot about teachers....ages ago, one of the science teachers fell down a mountain on holiday, and a sharp big rock when through his stomach...well thats what the teachers say, don't know if its true though, but there is a plaque on the wall about it.

wojtek666down
04-30-2004, 02:36 PM
in my school the last time someone was killed was like 10 or 15 years...
thats what teacher told me...some portorican dude walked to the main hall of the school and some other portorican gang mambers came behind and shot him to death...it was the drug deals between two gangs, thats why they killed him.

Crateman
04-30-2004, 08:04 PM
just another reason why the schools are bad :p

Piggus
05-01-2004, 01:00 PM
It sort of verys depending on your location. My school is very peacefull but my cousins school in Dallas has Bloods and Crips and people bring guns all the time. Not a comfortable place to be IMO.

teh_sheeep
05-01-2004, 08:15 PM
in my school the kids think there in the ghetto and all... so they try and act cool... instead we had 5 arrests this year cause of kids brining blades, lighters, paint, and drugs...

edit:

by the way im in a middle school...

Zidane
05-01-2004, 09:58 PM
Maybe I'm paranoid, but I keep a small blade with me when I go to school. More than half of the kids in my school are either drug dealers, violent pricks, or 'friends' who would just pick a fight with you for fun. I'm talking, they punch you as hard as they can in the stomach and claim it was all out of good clean fun.

Neil
05-02-2004, 12:22 PM
Perfect description of one of the problems plaguing America that makes other developed countries hate it so much, Zidane. Why not just ban handguns, and wtf is a rent-a-cop?

And cyrix, you can't overdose on heroin, since there is no dose stated on the packet! :evil3:

.:Mouldy Punk:.
05-02-2004, 01:12 PM
you can go over your body's limit...which is probaly what cyrix meant. pretty much every1 in my skool has done/still does drugs. and i don't take a "weapon" into skool, but i occaisonaly take in a pipe or a rounders bat (similar to baseball), I just say i'm using it for PE.

@ teh sheeep : lighters??? lmao. In my skool pretty much every one smokes something, weed or standerd tobacco cigarettes. so loads of people have lighters. The teachers know about it but they don't do anything because they know that it is physically impossible to get rid of every lighter in the skool. also alot of people carry drugs with them and the teachers know it, but they've given up caring about that now. one of my teachers smokes skunk, the weird thing is, he actually admits it.

my skool is in a crummy area of my town so thats probaly why all this shit goes on.

Don
05-02-2004, 02:31 PM
Yeah, my entire school smokes aswell, some of them do drugs, (that would be weed) but heck, I don't care. I don't smoke or do anything like that anyways.

I don't (need to) bring weapons to school, some people have knifes but no one ever uses them.

cyrix
05-02-2004, 02:43 PM
yeah considering alot of my friends died and my cousin died from it....that wasn't a cool thing to say neil. *sighs* i like how we "americans" are the supposedly so uncivilized and brutal, yet we have people from other countries making comments like that....
that had no flavor....in other words it was tasteless.

and a rent a cop is a security guard who wears a badge but really isn't a cop..... sorta like a pseudo cop i spose......

and yeah i think the whole no tobacco in school thing is stupid, if your 18 and can legally buy it i don't see why you can't have it.

and america is so screwed up because our lawmakers have no imagination at all. i mean look at canada, people up there feel so safe they never lock their doors. they think that their locking themselves in, not locking the bad guys out. i think canada, switzerland, luxemburg, sweden, finland, and new zealand are the only countries getting it right. it's because they realize that making everything illegal isn't the way to solve your problems.

Darkon_X
05-02-2004, 05:12 PM
I think when he said a rent-a-cop, i think he meant one of those cheap cops that are worthless having and I agree with Cyrix's idea of making things legal, for example, Marihuana or "weed" should be legal in the states

Why? you may ask, well whenever I go to school it's easier for me to buy marijuana than to buy beer or cigarretes.

Why is that? well because the only people who sell marijuana are out on the streets and they don't ask for an ID, instead they only ask for 20 bucks and walk away. Beer and Cigarretes on the other hand, the only people who sell it are people that actually have their stores so whenever someone comes in they actually ask for an ID.

Im not saying that I'm a weed user, but im just trying to make a point here. If people wanna be dumb and kill themselves doing that crap, so be it, people do what they wanna do. Also there is no way of stopping people from doing it, they only way to prevent little teenagers from doing is making it legal. So I guess Cyrix is right, making everything illegal isn't the way to solve your problems.

I got checked for marijuana by the police and my principal way back in 10th grade. None of the times did I have drugs. I'm smart enough to not do drugs.

Don
05-03-2004, 12:47 PM
yeah, same here...

there isn't much drug activity on our school anyways. Some kid had to go to some institute because of fireworks. (an example for a punishment there is cleaning graffity off trains)

I live in switzerland, here its even a big thing if someone brings a laser light into school! thats not allowed here...

Neil
05-03-2004, 04:44 PM
Yep, that's what it's like here aswell. Perhaps because, after the main shooting in the UK, at Dunblane Primary School in the 1990's, we learned there was a problem and outlawed handguns.

From my perspective, there seems to have been little done in the USA with matters like this.

cyrix
05-03-2004, 04:46 PM
see in canada, our northern neighbors, they don't have strict gun laws like we do....and yet there murder by fire arm rate is just a fraction of a percentage of what the usa's is. in one city there had only been one killing and it was done by a US citizen who crossed the border.....

05-03-2004, 04:46 PM
there are at least 2 deaths each year at the high school next to me (not mine, though... but i live closer to there than my own school)

since the topic of countries has come up, and because of what i read in neils report on the vice city documentary, i have to say this.....

the united states IS A DEVELOPED COUNTRY. the notion that it is not is totally ridiculous, and offensive to say the least. truth be told we probably are the most developed country in the world....how we did this in a mere 200 years is beyond me. the fact that there is more violence here does not make the country un-developed. and you cannot hold "americans" responsible. you need to hold the persons responsible. i'd appreciate it if "americans" were not stamped with the "they're violent and un-developed" notion.

a person can be violent and moronic, but not the entire nation. that's like saying that since popeye's chicken is horrible all chicken fast food is horrible. and that's stupid and uninformed.

i find it funny that alot of the world loves american products, and when we help them out when there in dire straits....and then they go behind our backs and say stuff like "americans are assholes, they suck"

makes no sense....i don't hate any country, even if i meet some rude people from there. i just think they are a bunch of asses, not the whole country.

rappo
05-05-2004, 06:24 PM
well, i think there is still a lot of things america can work on *cough*california schools :D*cough* ( i have a smiley in my cough), but to say that we are less "developed" than other countries is a bit silly. sure, there isn't many homicide cases in the UK, but that's because weapons are less accessible there... and i don't really think that's being developed.

w00t w00t, too bad they like to skimp on the interior.

yeah.. and they make their own motherboards so you cant upgrade components (unless you buy their parts), so you've got to buy a whole new motherboard. HP knows how to play :D

somebody sent me an email with this in it......

Hey Jason, before we continue with the contest I must know what you think about the occupation of the american mercenaries lead by the most cruel man in the world,Bush, in Iraq killing a lot of people with no mercy. I must know this because I realized what those assasins american forces can do to innocent people in a invented war with the only purpose: Have The Iraq Oil.

I think everybody should see this pictures to realize what is the real thing behind all this stupid new intervention of american forces into an inocent country. I hope you are against those american mercenaries too. Againts Rumsfeld, Rice, Cheney, Bush, Powell, who soon will pay the price for all of this going to jail for the rest of their insane lives. Bye Jason, I hope you reply my message.

ok it's cool that they have their opinions, but that email is for the contest only, not for personal stuff. if you wanna talk personal then talk to me here, no offense but i deal with this stuff enough without having this stuff sent to the contest email box. don't do it again.....

I don't get that e mail to. I can't understand wy there is so much hate against America. If America doesn't do something about a dictator or a civil war its wrong, but if they are there its wrong to. As an example a year ago in some african country people were protesting that the americans had to protect there city from rebels, just 2 years before that they protested agianst a US mission in the country
Back on topic. There should be better laws about guns in the US, we don't have had a single gun incident in our school. Gun legislation will get difficult because of the right to be able to defend yoursels (wich they should'nt chanche)

BC Rich

No guns or anything in my school, but my friend brought in a crowbar for protection. Another kid brought in a knife a few years ago and pulled it out whilst people were changing for PE.

About deaths, a kid who recently moved here hanged himself. The papers say it was accidental, but I highly doubt that.

Mad Max
05-18-2004, 07:32 AM
whats PE? A kid on an other school hanged himself half a year ago and a kid who had been on my school hanged himself to and his younger sister found him wille there parents were not at home.

Basicly just doing sports like football

We changed sport every term, like one term we did Football (Soccer) then the next we did say...Rugby, then Softball or something. The teacher scored a free-kick against me in goal in soccer once, he was about 60.

No. He got beat up and arrested because he supposedly instigated the fight.
