What are your thoughts on a GTA release for the Wii?
Chinatown Wars is so in depth, allowing for a much larger variety of gameplay. The Nintendo platforms have become very unique and CW proved that GTA is very entertaining with these new twists to the traditional games.
The possibilities for GTA with the Wii Remote & Nunchuck, and other peripherals such as the Wii Wheel and Wii Zapper could really provide for some incredibly entertaining gameplay.
Before experiencing Chinatown Wars, I was skeptical to the idea of GTA on the Wii. Now that I've seen how Rockstar has taken advantage of the unique platform (DS), I'd be 100% supportive for a GTA release on the Wii.

Well Rockstar need money, Take 2 want them to make a game for the Wii, it's only a matter of time before they collpase and bow down to the Nintendo Gods.
But on the subject I would prefer if they continued with the PS3/360?PC (ACTUALLY LIKE WORK ON IT!) method. But Gamers don't really matter anymore in todays gaming world, it's all about the casual gamer and what makes money, which is developing for the Wii.

Well I didn't mean to completely stop them in their tracks on the development for the next, shall we call it, "true" GTA, it could be another "in-between" thing. A 3D GTA with this kind of unique gameplay I think would be a really fun experience. (yes I know CW is 3D, but you know what I mean)

Well depends what they do really, Rockstar London specialise with the Wii, and they done Manhunt 2 on there, so who knows what they are up to right now.

Anyways, did you ever play Manhunt 2 on Wii? I'm curious if they did anything "special" with the gameplay.

i would like a game on wii as long as they dont make it canon just put the gta title on there so it sells but make it like zelda crosbow training except on mobsters and shit and make the real true gtas on the 360 and ps3 so we get something as awesome as gta 4. i just dont want the gta's going in the direction of all the other wii games out there

They should make one for the iPod touch or iPhone, I'm sure they will be able to make it a fun but yet a true GTA game.

A GTA for the Wii, now that would have so much potential, although I feel many gamers would be turned off due to the lack of graphic capabilities.
If we did get a GTAWii i'd like to see use of the WiiMote more and more, such as...
1. alot of more Fist Fights
2. Extortion
3. Hotwiring a car
4. Use for the gun
5. Possibly a fight club?
The Wii could easily handle a game like the PS2 GTAs.

Remember, only soo far fans will go, unlike Hot Devil up there, I won't be willing to get a fucking iPod if a GTA game gets released on that, I don't want GTA to become the milking franchise *See Guitar Hero*
