Local Legends

There is a local legend in my area about a dogman, a six foot high dog type animal which sands on its hind legs.I honestly don't believe in it, mostly because most of the stories come from someone who is full of shit. I know someone who used to live right in the area where it supposedly lives, and he was always out in the woods. When I asked him about it, he didn't even know what I was talking about. I spent some time in the woods one night in an abandoned campground where he is supposed to come out, and all that I saw was fire flies. Don't get me wrong, I am a bit open to the idea, but I don't really think it exists.

Does anyone have any other local legends?

go up to the pier on sf and walk down the street if you notice a random bush its to late he willl come out and scare you.

its not a legend anymore but some people who live in the bay area know about him hes called the bush man its a random homeless dude that covers himself in a bush and scares you when u walk by and then asks for money.hes been doin it for years now and its almost like hes part of the pier and the whole life of the wharf.

also if you go buy ghiradelli chocolate factory theres always a guy (doesent really have alegend name like the bush man but a lot of people come by and see him and others go there and enjoy him) what he does is he stands out there with his guitar and his can for money and he sings little songs that he just makes up about people walking by and how he wants you to drop money off in his can. everytime i walk by i will sit there give him a couple of ones and just laugh my ass of he is truly one of the funniest guys ive ever listened to.

If we go with crazies walkin' around like devil here, there's a guy around here dubbed "Happy." Creepy son of a bitch, way too cheery and perverted. Likes to hit on little boys. I know a couple of guys that got him to buy them a bunch of shit. Nice watches, alcohol, etc. Not sure how they got him to, but he did it for 'em.
