dont have cartoon network, is it porno cartoons or summit?
cyrix
04-25-2004, 05:20 PM
lol no, there's no porn in them. it's just like adult themes cartoons, there's some swearing and the stuff is pretty much totally random comedy. most of it makes no sense but is funny as hell. go to adultswim.com and you can watch some clips there. good stuff. watch aqua teen hunger force, harvey birdman attorney at law, sealab 2021, and um....space ghost coast to coast.

It owns. They should have kept Home Movies on though. They advertised new episodes for months, and only showed them for a week or two, then cancelled the show.

Oh yes, this reminds me. I have Cartoon Network and yes sometimes I used to watch Orphen, Tenchi Muyo and Gasaraki. Those were cool shows that were on Adult Swim but I also still watch like other cartoons that normally play.
We used to have cartoon network, years ago, but it got removed or something, you gotta pay to see it now. kinda sucks, but we only got to see the shows like Dexter and Cow and Chicken. which are quite boring to me.
Never heard of [adult swim] though.

"Orphen, Tenchi Muyo and Gasaraki"
Orphen sounds familiar, but I never heard of the other two ever be played on [adult swim]. I think that was Toonami Midnight Run.

Although here we don't have Adult Swim...We have Cartoon Network...I have seen in a couple of times, and it rock!...Birdman rules!
Some of those shows (Cowboy Bebop, Gasaraki, Tenchi muyo) are aired in other channels...here in Mexicoland

We don't have cartoon network, not anymore. Those assholes at upc trew it of the cable a few years ago together wit cnn and eurosport. We got cnn back a few minutes after the first plane hit the WTC, but we stil haven't got the other chanals back.
ha yeah now you say so... I never really noticed it was back at the wtc crash...
We 'lost' Cartoon Network and got Animal Planet in exchange.

cyrix
04-29-2004, 10:43 PM
who me?? i know that there is a website for the creator, but no official website for the show. just adult swim, and it's gone now since it was cancelled
and get this, the main character was named brendon small, so is the creator of the show....actually all the characters are based off real life people

04-30-2004, 11:24 PM
Yeah home movies was great! I also like Sealab 2021 and Auqua team hunger force.
cyrix
05-01-2004, 02:22 PM
aqua teen will probably be around for awhile, and they better come out with a dvd for home movies like they did for athf and sgctc
Zidane
05-01-2004, 10:02 PM
Home Movies isn't an official Adult Swim/Cartoon Network production.I think it's made by Soup2Nuts. So they'd have to make one... and chances are, they won't.
cyrix
05-02-2004, 12:22 PM
good point, but is williams street a part of cartoon network? or are they there own private company? and what about Sealab2021 which is from 7030? because mc chris works for adult swim, but he also works on the show....lots of questions i you for have.
BC Rich

Go to the Adult Swim website and make one of those letters.
cyrix
05-02-2004, 08:29 PM
WTF are you talking about BC? no offense but you don't make sense that often lol....
BC Rich
05-02-2004, 08:32 PM
Sorry. I'm probably not sober yet. But you know that thing with the letters Adult Swim do on Thursdays?
cyrix
05-02-2004, 08:40 PM
oh, those are cards, well that's what they call them. i take it your referring to the black screens with white text? if so then yeah, those are cards. and they only usually take posts from adult swim message board members. and sadly....i've tried to join a million times but i never get the confirmation email. but i'm just gonna email mc chris cuz i've talked to him a few times and he would know, and respond, better and faster than the actual adult swim people.
BC Rich
05-02-2004, 08:45 PM
Well get someone who is a member and tell him/her to write.
cyrix
05-02-2004, 08:50 PM
i'll just email or call chris, he does voices for some of the adult swim shows.....that's why I said he'd know better than just some lowly shmuck who works in an office.
BC Rich
05-03-2004, 10:05 AM

cyrix
05-03-2004, 08:06 PM

Adult Swim adopts all the badass cartoons that were cancelled from Fox because they decided to replace them with them damn "reality" shows.
(I use the term reality very loosely)
Now, if Adult Swim had Simpsons...Whew, goodbye FOX.
cyrix
05-04-2004, 12:09 AM
that's the fucking truth too.....you know what pisses me off though? fox is bringing back family guy, not cartoon network. they should own the rights to it.
and pyro, did you want a link to the site where i got my sig? i don't know if u answered earlier or not

I love adult swim! I like watching it when I'm on that wacky tabacci. :D I must say I don't/didn't like Home movies though. but I love all the other shows, & the letters that they have with that buzzy music. I laughed so hard when I saw the one saying:
Dear Adult Swim,
I hate furries!

02-05-2005, 11:19 AM
Beh...its ok.
My favorite episode of anything was the ATHF where they got all this electronic stuff, and Master Shake had the eBongos, lol.
Or the Pop-up ads one, where their home was invaded by pop-ups, that was a good one too.
