This is long but not that LONG* 120mins GOOD for DS FANS :) Rockstar is doing some real work for DS ChinaTownWars

It’s almost mind blowing that the DS version of GTA could hold 2 hours of cut scenes but apparently so, according to the BBFC.

Note that since February 2001 the BBFC has measured each component separately, but older works may not have the exact details, only a list of titles.
n/a GRAND THEFT AUTO: CHINATOWN WARS
02:00:00:00 SUPPLEMENTARY CUTSCENES (APPROX)
00:48:00:00 SUPPLEMENTARY GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE (APPROX)
A film or video, together with associated trailers may exist in several versions and all versions known to the BBFC are listed below.

No doubt the cut scenes are mostly in game rendered but it still makes for a pretty damn big game scope, also listed on the BBFC listing is the ‘48 minutes of Supplementary Gameplay footage’… which could be anything although although presuming it’s cutscene related it does push up the running time to an impressive 168 minutes.

GTA: Chinatown Wars is being developed by Rockstar Leeds / Rockstar North and will be exclusive to the Nintendo DS, it’s currently planned for a March 17, 2009 release.

I don't think it's that interesting, the cutscenes are like the comic book scenes that we've already seen screenshots of, many games have longer "cutscenes" if we count that type. Also claud, there was NO GTA game on the NES that was a user created game released on the internet years later. Anyway, yeah, the cutscenes are not that impressive *goes back to playing Apollo Justice with its 8 hours of cutscenes*

Yeah. They won't be, and I might say aren't going to be full rendered cutscenes.

The reason I haven't posted this on the main site is because it's nonsense. When games are rated by the BBFC, the developers supply a 'reel' of footage to the board which highlights the worst or most significant parts of the game. The 2hr length of the video Rockstar has supplied here does not represent in any way whatsoever how long the actual cut scenes in the game are. It could be more or it could be less.

Well, I was a little hasty in saying it was nonsense, what I meant was that I didn't think it was worth reporting for those reasons - I see a lot of other sites are carrying the news and are saying the 120 minute feature for definite, when we can't really be sure how long they will be.

I saw enough sites too they had a big title like "GTA Chinatown Wars to have 120mins worth of cutscenes" ex from gta4.net.
