Isometric view? What does that mean?

Isometric view? What does that mean?

That means it's fixed 3D, from a diagonal angle that allows you to see the X, Y and Z axii clearly. These views are usually used for drawing, where the paper (2D, flat plane) can be used to draw out something that looks 3D with 3 axii (Length, Width and Breadth).

I think it works well for adventure games, but GTA? Meh. Sorry, I don't see how an isometric view will turn out well. Hopefully Rockstar Leeds will prove me wrong then.

Wikipedia has a list of video games with Isometric angles, here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Isometric_vi deo_games

The design thusfar for this game looks perfect. I was always wondering how they would pull off the open gameplay on the DS. This is definetely the best way to do it. Also this game will prove the DS' ability to house large games. I'm pumped.
