Most of you will probably know him best for his voice work as Chef in South Park
If I still had it, I would throw on my copy of Chef's Luv Shack for the nostalgia right now.

It is obvious that there is some secret agenda against famous Black people. Morgan Freeman was a failed attempt. There going to slowly work there way up the chain until they get Barack Obama.

Isaac Hayes - Shaft -----> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNa0_u9UiJc&feature=related&resnum=0
(CNN) -- Soul singer and arranger Isaac Hayes, who won Grammy awards and an Oscar for the theme from the 1971 action film "Shaft," has died, sheriff's officials in Memphis, Tennessee, reported Sunday.
Singer Issac Hayes seen performing in the U.K. last year. Hayes was found dead Sunday at age 65.
Relatives found Hayes, 65, unconscious in his home next to a still-running treadmill, said Steve Shular, a spokesman for the Shelby County Sheriff's Department.
Paramedics attempted to revive him and took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 2 p.m., the sheriff's department said.
No foul play is suspected, the agency said in a written statement.
Hayes was a longtime songwriter and arranger for Stax Records in Memphis, playing in the studio's backup band and crafting tunes for artists such as Otis Redding and Sam and Dave in the 1960s.
He released his first solo album in 1967, and his 1969 follow-up, "Hot Buttered Soul," became a platinum hit.

iReport.com: Your memories of Isaac Hayes
In 1971, the theme from "Shaft" topped the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks and won an Academy Award for best original theme song. The song and the movie score also won Grammy awards for best original score and movie theme.
Hayes won a third Grammy for pop instrumental performance with the title track to his 1972 "Black Moses" album.
From the late 1990s through 2006, Hayes provided the voice of "Chef" for Comedy Central's raunchy animated series "South Park," as well as numerous songs.
The role introduced him to a new generation of fans, but he left after the show lampooned his own religion, the Church of Scientology.
He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002.

Oh here it comes, a rant....like I'm known for.
Fuck you and Ska. Seriously, fuck you guys. Up until this point I had a modicum of respect for you two. But after this thread, you've successfully manged to degrade yourselves to dickwads.
I hate Scientology. I really really do. It is one of the most corrupt fucked up cults or in some eyes "religions" in existence today. But Isaac Hayes was a good man. He made great music, and his role as "chef" on South Park was great. Is it so fucking hard to look at a man for who he is and not what he was involved with? I mean seriously now....
What if one of your personal heroes was a scientologist and they died? Then people made fun of them for being involved with Scientology? You would shit yourself if you knew how many "celebrities" were involved with Scientology.
I"m an atheist, so if someone who was a catholic on these forums praised the fact that I died (and trust me it's almost happened three times in the last two years) would you be offended that they took my religious and/or philosophical beliefs and made my entire existence completely fucking pointless?
Bill Gates is the most philanthropic person on the face of the earth, yet he is responsible for Windows which many people hate. So are you going to define his existence, and how much he has helped the ill based on arrogant fanboy operating systems bullshit? If you do then I pity you. In fact, I pity you now.
A man is defined by what he does and by what he leaves behind. Isaac Hayes lead a good life, and he left behind a legacy of not only music, but humanity. So fuck you for belittling his entire existence just because you have a problem with his religion.
I swear right now I will make it a point to come back here after I find out you died and pointing out every flaw in your life that's "bad" just to tear you down.
In other words....respect people for who they are and what they do. Isaac Hayes never did any wrong, and you're a fucking douchebag for putting him down for a minor fact.

Hardly a minor fact.
Why don't you just go throw on some dark clothes and strap on your guy fawkes mask and run around town ranting about how scientology is evil.

Then when you're all done you can run back to your computer and post on 4chan how many lulz were had.
At the time of his death, Bernie Mac was working on the movie Soul Men with Isaac Hayes who, coincidentally, died the day after him.
Holy shit.

Actually anon has been pretty good about protesting they specifically stated that they aren't protesting the belief, but the way they operate such as charging for information.
