I cant wait, GTA on DS sounds like a good idea, this is my wishlist:

- Chinese Main Protagonist is a Definite, Isnt it?
- You do missions which require Blow Jobs where you blow into the mike.
- Hopefully 3d, but i will settle for 2d
- Niko Cameo?
- Really over the top, this time, with miniguns, tanks etc

Just to comment on the whole idea of Liberty City being used again, I kind of like that. LC was always my favorite city, and I love when they go back to it and you can see the change. I don't like GTA IV's LC as much, albeit more beautiful and huge--but it's missing the gritty feeling the second LC had from III..

indeed it does, not as dark as it once was but hey in gta it never was gritty at all....

as for an asian character, i dont want an obvious chinaman or even within the gang occupying chinatown..might be too obvious then. if hes going to be asian they should come up with something better like hes against the gang or something

for a little joke he should be scottish...gta came from there and havent even had one yet....

on the DS?? thats alot less powerful than the psp..and the psp even suffored from bad frames right?

so the graphics are gonna be utter shit on the DS...

might get a emulator of it or something

It was announced during the Nintendo E3 conference.

GTA didn't have any framerate problems on the PSP. GTA VCS had problems but that was because the UMD drive was a little too slow to load everything. You'd get a lot of pop-ups This problem was easily fixed by running the game on the memory card.

Nintendo does have Manhunt 2, RE4 on GC and Wii, and No More Heroes (Wii Exclusive which is definately the most violent (although stylized) vulgar and crudest game I've ever seen). So I could see an M rating.

I want 3D graphics, some nice touch screen minigames/controls, and a story in the PS2 trilogy with maybe a cameo from some IV characters as an easter egg.

My wishlist:

Don't bother releasing this game because:
1. It will be turd, too far toned down, thus removing the real atmosphere of GTA.
2. IV is far more important right now - sort out this DLC or your company is screwed forever. (Only 1 month left)

This is the most pathetic attempt at redeeming yourself I have ever known in gaming history.

What about resident evil survivor? after well, resident evil 3 wasnt a bad game but it didnt stand upto the first two and then they hit us with survivor.. nah I guess china wars is even worse..

God, I don't see why you guys have to Nintendo bash so much. Just because it's a Nintendo exclusive doesn't mean it's automatically gonna suck. Wait for the game to come out, play it, THEN say it's total shit.

This is not a Nintendo game. It is merely being released on a Nintendo platform. Resident Evil 4 was originally a Gamecube-only title, you might recall.

Just because it's gonna be on a Nintendo platform won't mean it will automatically suck; GTA Advance was a decent game.

On topic, I'm hoping to see this game focusing on gangs more than just Triads. As what most of the people are saying, I'm predicting that the protagonist is going to be Asian, but I'm afraid that his respect to the players will be below CJ.

I would like:

-A Scottish protagonist. (That was a good idea, whoever said that. :D)
-Lots of ways to blow stuff up, car bombs, bombs you can strap to
RC cars, bombs you can strap to people. :D
-Online multiplayer.

-Most importantly, I'd like, a SMALL Liberty City, maybe 1 or 2 small islands, but you could go in every building, and it's a detailed city.

I can live with that, I mean that has to mean they're going to strive for it to be good or something...right?

I read they were going to make a new engine for this game. For some reason, the word engine inspires me to think that it won't be a 2D game...Just a thought.

I hope we play as asian char but I also hope is dark (not evil but sorta) and I also hope he has a drug/alcohol problem which spirals towards the end. That make this innovative other then just being another GTA...

I would think it would be good if it was at least as close as LCS.

I doubt there will be airplanes and helicopters if LCS didnt intend to do it the first time around.

So maybe if they made another DS GTA it would be better but being the first DS GTA title it wont be as good as you want.

But you never know until it comes out :peace:

People keep saying nintendo this and nintendo that but truth is.. it wont matter for two reasons.

1 - money, nintendo understand rockstar know how to make an openworld crime game better than anyone and will let them do their thing.
2 - age, it will be given an appropriate age restriction so as far as the law is concerned the same people who are playing on ps/xbox are the same age as those playing on nintendo.
