not to rain on your parade here, but the "staff" label is pretty much the same thing - its just a different usergroup for mods who also want to help out with news and site content, because it gives access to the main site's admin panel.
i just feel like the word "promotion" belittles the moderators on these forums :p
in any case, though, iklipse has offered to (and has started to) help out on the site, so i thank him for that and we'll hopefully be completing some new GTA IV pages within the next week or two :D
