View Full Version : problems installing vice
When i insert Install Disk the autorun does not come up. So i go into D:/ and click setup.exe nothing happens. Can som1 help

he's probably got Windows 98
xp actually.

you have a DVD drive, if so try there, because for some reason my VC works with no problem when i put the CD in the DVD drive

my friend tried installing with windows 98 and it gave him problems

I think that you have a dvd drive to play it. If you do have a dvd drive then when you put the disc in and it doesnt show up, then go to My Computer and then click on D: drive. And if that doesnt work then you got a problem.

I have a DVD drive. I'll try my friend's VC on my computer.
there are a few corruptted files in the disk that is stuffing it. No i dont have a DVD DRIVE??you dont have to have a dvd drive to run an autorun?
ill just have to borrow my friends disk

Vice city works in a CD drive. Auto-run also works in a CD drive. Your don't need a DVD drive.

Sorry i just had the same problem with Mafia for pc. And it turned out that i needed a dvd drive to play it.
