SA on TechTV

Ok, i dont wanna start any kinda commotion here.

but

My cousin was talking to me on the phone last night and mentioned that he was watching X-Play a show on TechTV.

and they usually answer mail at the end of the show, as they usually do. But when my cousin was telling me was that some guy wrote in that the next GTA title was gonna be Sin City (witch it wont), and Adam Sessler (host) said, "No, you idiot, it's gonna be called San Andreas!"

now, of course we already knew this but what amaized the crap out of me is that my cousin said right before the credits they showed some pictures.

i wanted to not believe him, but i couldnt, he doesnt lie to me nor does he participate in April Fools jokes...and neither do i, so im not BS'ing you on this.

I didnt catch the episode but i was kinda wondering if anyone else did.
just to clarify.

I told him that im part of the Staff at GTAGaming (witch he comes to from time to time) and i said that we normally get info first or if it's not informed to us, it would be on the SA site.

thats whats driving me crazy...I just dont understand why we didnt get any pictures but yet it showed pics on X-Play.

i dont know if these are fakes or what...because he said they showed Game Play screenshots and not the Box Cover art.

So right now im going to research this and go to TechTV and check it out. because this just doesnt seem right, does it?

well noone has confirmed any official screenshots from SA, so no it's not right, yet TechTV is a respected company so... I dunno

Maybe its a april fools joke from TechTV, and by asking them if those screenshots where real,.........

dude, u can also take a look on there website....i found NOTHING...not even the words San Andreas or Grand Theft Auto...ANYWHERE.

nothing, i guess all i can do is watch every episode and if i see it, ill record it and find a way to put it on the PC and show everyone.

because that episode didnt air on April 1st. my cousin said he saw it like...3 days ago.

so im just gonna keep watching.

they probably showed some VC and GTA3 pics and probably your cousin thinks it's from SA, except if he's been playing GTA3 and VC for a long time

so its not a april fools joke, what kind of station is TechTV? if its a serious station that has something to do with games it might be real and parts of Rockstars marketing.

TechTV is not one of those Channels where they just make stuff up.. btw i don't think they make April's fool jokes on any channel, at least i have never seen one on TV

i have seen one, there was a building that stood a bit lopsided. On 31 of march they said on the news that the next day they were gone pull it straight up with a massive crain, there were a lot of idiots who gone there to watch.

well tech tv did show the KH trailer first after it was released at the TGS last year. so they got there fingers into the industry. it coulda been real.

like i said, maybe they showed vids from VC and GTA3 and your cousin probably thinks it's from SA, that's why we need to know how long he's been playing this game

I cant believe nobody else saw that episode but i did so i will end the speculation there were no screenshots at the end of the show. There was only a question asked if it was called "sin city" and adam sessler said no its called "San Andreas" like Zero said so that means that his cousin is a liar or he was just jokin around.

i think screen shots will come in may in E3. obviously R* will release some kind of trailer to build up hype. it's gonna be just like KH for me. i'll watch the trailer a million times repeatedly saying "wow, wow, wow"

i bet they will release 2-3 pics at end of this month...then about 7-8 around July or so.

Nobody knows anything about the game. Rockstar are very good at keeping information secret, and if they were going to tell anyone, it wouldn't be "TechTV". Journalists are very good at twisting information, and it's likely that the pictures shown were fakes. If this was shown on TechTV, they'd be making a much bigger deal of it.
Also, if they managed to acquire the screenshots and displayed them without permission, not only would they damage their professional relationship with Rockstar Games, they'd also do damage to their relations with other companies aswell. They could also face legal problems. They wouldn't run this risk.

GTA3 was announced before E3 in 2001 and then a trailer was shown at E3

GTA:VC was announced during E3 IN 2002

So there will likely be something at E3 about SA
