that damn thing was probably an elaborate April fools joke. Everyone who downloaded it said it was just the Vice City trailer. Also, the comments section for that news has been closed down probably because because people were starting to axpect the prank. AND, the people who were suspecting a joke had there comments deleted. On the codename sites their joke is GTA has been discontinued. I must say this one really had me going and if it is real I would be really surprised.

Did you see that corvette police car? Somebody created that as a mod. Besides, R* is completely redoing the game engine dont you think the graphics would look a little different? gtagaming is part of the edge network so edge files could of had a lot to do with it.

BTW I bet Zidane and Kodo will be recieving a ton of pms on this topic so im not even going to bother bugging them.

The uper-right screenshot looks like its from GTA3 or GTA: World Online and the bottom-right shot with the vette looks like it was taken along the main drag in Vice City near the Greasy Chopper, and that ped standing there, isnt that the guy that allways says crap like "You cant even spell Italian."

On the more serious notes of things..
I hate to ruin things

But its fake.

1. In one of the screen shots it has the newspapper peices. Rockstar was going to ditch this all together in SA... So its either VC or III.

2. All cars are actually mods.

3. That intro/splash embarked with the "Grand Theft Auto: San Adnreas" logo, that background is actually with the mod from a SA fake (the motorbike one).

4. In the (third I think it is) screenshot, that area is from Vice City.

Few other giveaways too.

If it is legit, then a few people would have it..
Including all the people that didnt report, they just sat on the FTP and got feed everything R* added.

Or maybe its a new way of R* doing things? They might reveal it this way for some reason.. *shrugs*

The SA fake with the bike has the backdrop with a plane and terrain and stuff.. The "real" first screenshot of the trailer has the same terrain, background (buildings, bridge, etc.) and the plane too!

News from Rockstar won't be too far off. It has been one month since they released information. For Vice City, they released updates every month and so many days, especially with Kent Paul which was updated on one day every month.

I believe by June, or within that month, we will see one or two screenshots. And I personally doubt anything GTA-related being at E3. Rockstar just doesn't do it. They may however show Dead Red Revolver. Who knows.. TakeTwo Interactive has two or three lots reserved in E3.. So time will tell....

I think R* is in the finishing stages, taking out bugs, BETA testing, ect...
