Everytime I try to use the .img editor tool to delete either a .txd or .dff file it says "Dir file error! It might be in use.. exiting...", what am I supposed to do now? I tried to re-install 4 times and I took the Read-only check off... Can anyone help?

Could be a personal copy problem. Or theres something in the registry has got corrupted, making your computer "think" that something is using the file when there is nothing

i had a similar problem and the way i got round it was to change the files from being read-only i dont know if this will help but its what i had to do .
