Story missions don't advance

Yesterday I completed "Diamonds are a girl's best friend" for Gerry. Since then I have received one text message from Packie and one phone call from Dimitri (taunting me). I have progressed at least 3 in-game days since I completed the mission and still don't know what to do. Sleep mode is off and I have tried calling everyone in my phonebook, checking all my emails, etc...

Maybe someone could tell me what they did next or something because I really don't want to start over because of some f*cking stupid glitch.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem

I completed 3 leaf clover for packie, without doing any Ray Boccino missions, as I never recieved the phone call

I completed Smackdown for Derrick

I didn't get a text message from Steve (about car thefts)

I completed I want your clothes, your boots, and your motorcycle for Gerry

and finally I finished Paper trail for U.L. Paper

but there are no more missions

looks like I'll be restarting the game

One of those bugs in GTA IV were people don't do what they have to do to the point you need to restart the game which would have to be annoying when you are almost at the end of the game.
