Your graphics card may not be good enough. Or your Direct X version isn't high enough. Or you need to update your graphics card drivers

That same thing happened to me a couple times with an old video card... if I played another game like NeverWinter Nights first... When I restarted my computer it worked again

ive got a 48 mb graphics card

if yours is worse... that must suck.

my game runs.... so if you have more than 48 mb, then either you have little ram/cpu power, you dont have the latest version of directx, you don't have the correct .dll files, or you're on an unsupported OS

I think the latest version of direct X is 9 or 9.1 so go on the microsoft website and look around for Direct X

I have 32mb on my graphics card and it works fine. As rappo said it could be your RAM or CPU.

yeah, its probably not CPU because CPU isn't really memore

the new version of direct x is something like 9.0b... or 9.1b, so that's what i recommend. some newer games won't even allow you to play the game without this version, so it's always nice to have it. always available at microsoft.com or you can search on google

If there's not enough available video memory, it means your graphics card is too old to support the game. Do you know what card you have?

o right... thats what video means :p

well Quagmire II said this:

and i saw another post by him somewhere saying that he has a 16 Mb card... and his game runs.

but maybe his is less than 16mb... who knows.

yeah i remember that post. the 16 mb card that worked might be a top of the range 16 mb card but this card mite not be top of the range or its a budget card
