Before I begin my post, I want to begin by saying that GTA IV's MP has been more fun than almost any other gaming experience I can remember. There is just one complaint/disappointment that I have.
Prior to release, I was getting really excited about GTA IV MP, specifically cops and crooks. Where the cops could only see where the crooks are, but not where theyre headed, and the crooks could only see their destination. What I was excited about was all the different possible strategies, like the crooks splitting up as decoys so the cops have to either split up or take out each group of crooks one by one until they got the boss.
However, once I got in my first CnC game, I found none of that to be possible. Why? Because the boss appears as a HUGE target on the map. Therefore the cops can just aim for the target and ignore the other crooks. Whats the point of that? It completely takes out a lot of possible strategy, and after playing both sides of the mode, I felt it to be very Cop-sided. All Rockstar has to do is make the boss appear like all the other crooks on the map and make sure the boss player model is distinct (which, iirc, it already is), and then the mode would be fine.
Does anyone else feel this way?
