Install VC to 2 different locations?

hey, im wondering if i can install vice city to 2 different places on my computer.
i want one install for playing MTA: VC, and another for all my cool car mods etc.
when i put in the install disc it loads and asks me if i want to REMOVE this installation of vice city.
so, i was wondering how to install to 2 different places on my hard drive.
my current installation is the default one: Program Files\Rockstar Games\Vice City\

because you can only install vice once

hmmm, i remember installing it twice a long time ago....
so, anyone know how i can use custom cars AND MTA:VC???

as far as i know you can't you have to an unmoded vice city file

I heard this also. some of the people at myriad islands have done it, I believe, but the forums are down for servicing.. I imagine if you got a clean install on your computer and backed the entire contents into another folder, you could interchange folders when you wanted to play one or the other.

yeah all you have to do is go to your vc folder, copy the whole folder and paste it somewhere else on your computer

just rename vice city to something else, like vice city backup. Then put the install cd in, let it uninstal and then install VC agian. The backup will still be there.
