Well My first multiplayer expierence on GTa IV was pretty bad most of the time people on many game modes don't know what to do, and if I have 22 kills or something and the others 1 or 2, I get kicked... dunno if many people have this, but it is pretty anoying. Like on bomb tha base, I had 6 times where all my teammates blow themselfs up and don't know how to get cover......
Did anyone expierenced the same thing?

there are quiet alot of noob's on Multiplayer, but give them time, they'll get the hang of it and within 2-3 weeks, multiplayer will be much better! also for 360 owners (like me) there will be updates for the game and for the online mode which will improve it, as sometimes (very rarely) the game doesn't connect, but when it does, its brilliant! no lag or anythin, just great!

hhhhmmm, I havent tried the multiplayer yet, but from what Im reading here Im a little worried, I think I will continue to enjoy my single player experience until I am more adapted to the cover system and shooting, I havent died in the game yet though

Im gonna go play multiplayer right now! here i come you insane noobs!!
I hate people who just run to the big guns and stay there. The whole point of the cover system is to have insane shoot-outs like in the movies. At least that's what I want. :(

yeah, sometimes its fun, like when I threw a grenade and one of my team mates ran into it and got blown away. And then he tryed to nade me, but he blew himself up :D or when on freeroam with my friends ( always better than with stranger :) ) we did king of the hill, the hill was the statue of liberty :P that was fun too

Yesterday I was riding in a maverick with two guys, and I thought, hmm, I wonder what happens if I just hold onto this grenade in here...
Unfortunately FF was off, so it was just a big kaboom. No explosion.
Some people don't even care about learning the basics and just skip the singleplayer and that creates the massive amount of multiplayer noobs, which is not a bad thing because noobish moments provide some good laughs every now and then. But the game came out this week... everybody's a noob i guess.

We just started playing, give people time to get use to the game and controlls then they wont be "noobs"(hate that geeky word).

Well, most people know the controls alright, but well.... its just that noobs are entertaining and anoying, if one of them is your teammate, they blow ur car up to get the kills, so that tthe anoying part, the entertaining part is see them get owned by a group of people :D well its balanced u know.

I think it needs tweaking. Just coming from COD4 which is the nicest game to play the hud etc is so accurate.
On this GTA the camera, n the whole screen blurring when spinning around fast is quite annoying. And i guess having to pick up medipacks and armor will just take some getting used to!

Of course it's gonna be like that, noobs are always assholes, they kick you for winning, etc.
This happens with all games. This is why I usually only play online with people who I know aren't cunts.
I say that in general, I haven't gotten IV yet.

The whole "noob" thing makes me laugh, as the game has only been out 3 or 4 days. Either way, I've seen people do some dumb things, but it happens.
In my experience playing, the only thing I can say really bothers me is when people don't stick together in Team Deathmatch. In most games I've been in, there are 2 or 3 teams who are pretty much just a band of misfits running around in all areas away from each other, then there's usually the one team that sticks together and swiss cheeses anyone who dares to get close and racks up the money.

I tried it and its not bad at all, in fact there was no lag in my games at all, one thing did bother me alot though:
This guy was driving a car, someone shot his car wit an RPG the car blew up with him in it and some how he was still alive, I started shooting him as he was still in the drivers seat, then he got out and killed me in two shots while I had to reload, how on earth did he survive the explosion of the car in the first place.

The game has been out three freaking days, EVERYONE is a n00b.

There is a glitch, or whatever, sometimes when your blown up and still stay alive. Also this happens in the chopper you basically have an invulnerable shell flying around.
Thier not necessarily n00bs they just don't have very good awareness. You can tell quickly who are and are not bad because of their driving abilities.

Theres a lot of "wiggers" on MP. :/
N00bs only spoil it because just like most online games, everyone goes for the best car or weapons and just runs round aimlessly. I want a nice stand off in the streets but no one uses the cover feature online.
RPG Deathmatch however is an absolute blast! :D Also fun is just melee, up close and personal beatings FTW!! :P
But my favourite by far is to get a group of 4 or more guys in a Private Free Roam match, get a heck load of Wanted stars and have a good old shoot out with the cops. Fun times.

Skill doesn't annoy me, people on your own team shooting yor car because you didn't pick them up in time. Gave me a flat tire the faggot.

yeah, same but its pretty much better now, the noobs are ALMOST gone. so at bomb da base 2, its going pretty well now, no blowing up teammates car etc, I had one time, someone flew the chopper alone, so me and a 2 other friends threw a grenade at it, and it exploded right under the chopper, so he died :finger:
well the mission failed because he died 4 times already. it was pretty fun.
and I still hate the ready option, because most people just ready and then when there is only 5 seconds left, most of them are not ready... for some reason.. so you have to wait again..
Doing stuns in freeroam with friends is cool tough.

I've only played online a couple hours so far, I think it was freakin bad ass. Getting kicked for being too good might suck, but, at least yer good. Don't complain too much. My first time out I was mowin' people down, thanks to the singleplayer training(cover and aiming).
Just play and enjoy this lil slice of heaven we call GTA IV.

I was doing some death match with my friends vs some other friends, Then a guy came in and did very normal. So we though, Ah sure let 'em play with us. After a while of playing we had alot of fun doing team death match, Then the guy kept attacking us, And kept killing us.
While we tried to kick him, It didn't work.
Unfortunately we had to close the game. Or else we wouldn't get a rip of this guy.
Funniest thing was, We couldn't ever play with 'friends' only ever again.
Shitty people inside of it indeed, Getting sick of 'em, Honestly.
As for 'Bomb da base II'', While we are doing the missions line, there's one guy who doesn't want to help. While we can't complete the mission, Cuz we have to wait for the crew to come to the bomb base.

I am actually getting pretty good. all thanks to single player mode. There is tactics that really help you online. here is a list of some I use.
1) Always use cover, ducking behind a brick wall could save your neck online, utilize that feature to it's full potential.
2) Always go for the rifles, having a rifle is much better than having a handgun. Having the best gun increases your chances of surviving.
3) if you find yourself a turismo or super gt or something park it in a secure location near to where you are taking cover, so that if things get to hairy and your low on life, you can just hop into your car and drive to a health point out of the action, then you get ready and come straight back in with full health.
4) Always stick with your team as much as you can. if you can back each other up, your team is near enough invinsible.

that is my main problem with multiplayer dont get me wrong multi is a blast but when you play a match that has certain objectives people just dont read. I was in a cops and crooks match earlier today and soon as you start in big fucking HD letters its says PROTECT THE BOSS....but here is what happens the match starts and then boom like a fucking A- bomb went off at there feet everyone scatters leaving just me and the boss and there not looking for weapons or a car you wont see em again:(
but other than those type of problems im really enjoying it wish people would use there headsets tho (PS3) i know loads of people have em but wont use em:(

Also, try and stay as close to where the health is as possible so if you get fucked up you can easily move over to it, it's saved my arse a few times. The only issue i'm having with Online is little shits who smacktalk you all the time. Gets right on my tits.

Why are you guys complaining about "noobs"? The game just came out, FFS! I've been playing the newer GTA games for as long as I can remember on the Playstation and now I'm on Xbox 360 and its a new experience for me.
You know the "Kill 20 players in a Ranked Deathmatch" Achievement. I killed 17 in one and 15 in another. Does it have to be 20 in one round?

A bit of the problem is the low player count combined with a large map. This just enables camping. Hopefully Rockstar will update the MP and increase the limit to 30-32. With that many players, you'd see a lot less camping.

The issue I have is on Free Roam I'll jump into a room and end up playing with 8 or 9 people that are friends and the other couple of us are strangers. The friends will band together and cause havoc on the few left. But when the tables are turned and I caught a Super GT on fire, ran it full speed, jumped out of the it, it then crashed into their armored truck (awesome explosion BTW!) and killed 4 of them. After this they kicked me from the game... If you can't take a punishment, don't play. Ive had many occasions where this will happen. But overall MP is a blast and I love it, it would be cool to have 30-32 players though.

well.. if there are 31 or 29 strangers, it would be a ultimate noob paradise with free mode :P
the second deathmatch option without score.
nah, if most of those people are friends it is cool yeah
but if u get punished for doing something good, it sucks really bad dude
btw a tip for multiplayer: Alwasy play free mode with friends, or u will end up in deathmatch in the entire mode
PS: did u guys notice many people are just selffish idiots on multiplay? well I just give it a week :P
