So, the only way to track stats or rank up is a ranked match? Good grief. Who is going to spend their time doing it?? if you're using a party you have to keep going back and forth between the party lobby (which just so happens to be the same as free mode) since you cant play with the same people twice, whihc also means waiting for games to fill up and people to ready up.

Can we PLEASE do like COD4 did and get rid of player/ranked matches? This is definitely the worst thing MS did with Xbox Live. it basically just cuts your number of users in half when half are playing player matches and the other half are playing ranked.

...and people care about their leaderboard stats so much they dont want to play player matches. thats probably the worst part.

Yeah, I much prefer playing ranked games. I have noticed one thing that is particularly annoying about the multiplayer - you get load screens DURING play! I know, teleporting the player to a new location and loading all that data for the surrounding environment takes time, but surely they could have done SOMETHING to avoid having to throw up a plain black load screen every time you die?

I am of the opinion that player matches should be axed.

agreed, they need to fix the multiplayer a tad, especially the problems people are having with losing a player in the game then restarting the match. i havent really had that problem because i just played with some friends in a closed match and we just killed each other/got used to the city

The load screens are annoying, mostly because you even lose voice during them. It just goes blank. The first time I played I thought the game had died and was kicking me out to SP. It would be nice if they could just put you in the world as a ghost while it loads so you can hear the open chat channel but maybe just be locked down to one area while the rest of the world loads.
