Cannot connect to game provider

"Cannot connect to game provider, please try again later."

I'm getting that message if I try to access multiplayer on the PSN at the moment. It WAS working earlier, though would constantly say disconnected from server returning to single player.

I figured it was my net so I had a fiddle around with DMZ but that sorted out nothing and I was still getting the same problem. Now I just plain cannot access multiplayer, as it says the above.

Anyone else.. ?

They are mate, was on earlier, as were a lottttt of gamers. But a lot seem to be having this problem.

edit: Now im online on free roam. This is messed up. :s

think of all the people trying to get online right now, servers are most likely crammed...........picking up my copy in 1 hour. no online for me till later tonight.
