Kill a Rockstar?

Does anyone know if you have to kill an actual rockstar dev, or if you can kill someone else who has already done it? Otherwise this is going to be pretty hard.
I know most other games that have a similar acheiv allow you to gain the acheiv off someone else who already has it.

Not really hard, just down to luck, and they had a lot more developers than GTA, so not really as luck-orientated as you think. If you're that desperate, try find out some of the team's favourite MP games and hang about in those games for a while.

It has to be Viral, otherwise it would just be stupid, what if someone started playing the game a year from now and none of the team were still playing it, that means that person wouldn't stand a chance of getting it, personally in Multiplayer I haven't come across a person who has this achievement yet but I'm sure it's viral like in most other games.

that's what that means? yes! i got that acheivement yesterday and didn't know what the heck they were talkin about. its not hard. at all. i just got my internet back up, and in about 30 minutes of online play i got that acheivement. i'd like to say i'm just that good... but i doubt it.

It's definitely viral. I got it last night when I shot my friend. It was in a custom deathmatch game too, so it doesn't have to be a ranked game.

It's Viral, guys! The achievement (under the Xbox 360 achievement pane) says "Kill a Rockstar in a Multiplayer game", as opposed to "Kill a Rockstar Developer" previously. I killed some guy in a DM game and got it, definitely viral. Everybody would have gotten the achievemet by now.

I killed someone in Team Deathmatch, thats your best bet for the achievement.
