Online multiplayer rumors

Before we get started I would like to say... I hate fanboys, they arent welcome here.
And if your about to start bitching because you have an xbox 360...

Ive heard from some people that the online multiplayer for grandtheftautoIV will differ
between the two consoles (playstation 3/xbox360). And although my sources arent that
reliable, it would be nice to know if the rumours were true.

erm starting with the multiplayer map sizes...
Apparently, playstation users will have the option to use an open map layout when playing
certain multiplayer modes, this is apparently thanks to the playstations ability to read BD.

But people playing with an xbox 360 will only be able to select certain area/islands for them
to play on. Im not sure if either of them will have the option of an open layout, or selectable
areas.

If any of the Information above has already been confirmed as true/false, then im sorry... it happens.

oh yes... downloadable content.
this is mainly aimed at playstation users, but feel free to express your opinion never the less!
Im wondering what you think about the complete lack of extra content we will be recieving as
playstation users, as i for one dont give a crap.

well he says at the start of the post, about you should buy a ps3 and not have a 360 so stright away anything he says is biased towards ps3, he then says that ps3 as open map and 360 does not as far as im concernd its bullshit as for downloadable content the 360 content is already in progress ps3 is not,

but i would say ps3 as more problems online than 360 as ps3 r cheap cunts who use shity servers, i happily pay £40 a year for xbox live cos im gettin quality servers

I have both consoles, i have gta on ps3 and im gunna wait to see what the download content is first then i may get the xbox version aswell. Personally i think bill gates is a genius but i dont want microsoft taking over everything like EA seems to be doing with games.

Oh yeah, im pritty sure when the gta novalty wears off in august, PS3 users (including myself) will be pissed.

there are no "huge" difference between Xbox 360 and PS3. There are some pros and cons about both consoles. But keep this in your mind, Rockstar made damn sure that both Xbox and PS3's owners have opporunity to play GTA IV instead buy certain game platform in order to play GTA IV.

Even though the idiots at MS decided to add an update in which there is an age limit set on all downloadable content (there's no way to change it, so I won't be able to get the GTA IV DLC), I chose that it wouldn't hurt.

wtf... MS know that younger players are just going to make more accounts and pay-to-pay to get extra content for their games... its terrible, half the worlds starving, and the other halfs contributing towards Bill Gates' holiday fund.

In terms of downloadable content, playstation will never be where xbox is. Not to mention the online multiplayer is the best of any console. Your post is very hypocritical, and ignorant.
