GTX Editor Problems

Ok...downloaded GTA: Vice City GTX Editor at Mod Shack about 3 mins ago...and it gives me an error when i try to load or save something. Anyone else have this problem before? Also...like an idiot...i clicked on the american.gtx and i clicked Open With, then looked for the GTX EDITOR and told the file to open it with that. Is that a problem? because now it gives me an error eveytime i try to open it. But nevermind that....back to the error.

but uhmm...is that HERE at GTAGaming or at Mod Shack or search for it on Google? sorry, but im an idiot today....looooong tired day...so help me out here. ;)

I know what's wrong with your GXT editor.

Ok, click on the URL bar, and after the \TEXT\ put an american.GXT\ beside it. Go to it, then it will give you an error. THAT'S APART OF HOW TO MAKE IT WORK!!! Repeat that same step above, then the URL to the GXT folder will be in there, although you havent gone to it. Copy the URL, open the GXT editor, paste the URL in the top, and click open. Problem solved :D

yeah i used gta texter the english/german version its much easier and has a word locater on it , just remember to save after every line you alter zero or it can mess up , it did it to me once and i lost the whole file !
