I have a lot of REPLAY files.
I could not open them with: REAL PLAYER, WINAMP or...:wtf:
Which program can i use to VIEW them ??

The only program to view replays with is... GTA VICE CITY!!!!!! Press F3 to view replay.rep.

Yeah... Kodoman knows everything.
But you got to rename the replay you want to see as "replay.rep"(put it inside "gta vice city user files"), start Vice and load up a save, then press "F3".

yeah, but thats the only way... sort them by date so its easier to find em. Once i watched like 150 replays omg lol

yeh the only way to view them is through VC but it would be good if someone managed to make a program that would convert then to a mpeg of avi or summin...it probaly cant be done though...because with the replays you can change the camera angle but you cant with mpegs or avi's

PLEACE, SOME1 HELP. I CANT DO THAT, I NEED TO MAKE THAT replayes to replay.wav .... or anything. That is realy bad way to show them :'(

sorry this is the only way to open them.. put the replay.rep to the "gta vice city user files" make sure theres only one of this files inside!!start your game press the F3 and watch the replay.. downlload the fraps so you can record the stunt to the mp3 format.this is the only way.
Yes, use fraps when you're playing the replay to save it to a normal file.
(-REMEMBER- you have to use another tool to compress that file it's called Virtual Dub or something. But that's explained in the readme file) Couse the files fraps saves are about 80 MB for 30 sec's of movie, and that may be very much HD space when you do all your 40 rep's

download fraps open it , view and record your replay (default F9 ) ,Download Virtual Dub , open the video you've just recorded using fraps in virtual dub , go to video at the top bar choose your compression format ( i recomend divx 5.0 ) then save your video .
It will compress it vey small and you can open it in Mediaplayer.
You can compress a 80mb file to about 3mb.
Simple as that , then you can make a video using Windows Moviemaker or something .... it aint that hard!

I used them all (FRAPS210DEMO.EXE, FRAPS19D.EXE & FRAPS19A.EXE, BUT:
AREN'T THERE ANOTHER PROGRAM, which is better than these?

Yeah I was hoping there was a better program than FRAPS, for sum wierd reason it doesn't like my PC :confused:

Thats the only program i know of , if anyone can find a program that captures anything higher than 640 x 480 let me know please!

I have fraps but i cant get it to work:(. Everytime i go to film the movie it says record in the corner for less than half a sec then goes back to the framerate. And everytime it saves anything in the fraps program file it is only ever 2 kilobytes size. Does anyone else have this problem? and does anyone know how to fix it?

that happens if its not recording in 16 or 32 bit I think but I dont know how to fix it

Samerali you CAN NOT play replays like a normal VIDEO. The replay is GAME DATA and not a media file.
And FRAPS rules man, just look at all the videos

Yes because its the FREE version... But 2.0 is better. If you get it registered. But you just use 1.9.
