Is win. My dad's in the process of restoring a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner, and my uncle and cousin have a full-on professional drag-racing 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner. Well, they redid their car, and all the parts were just sitting around their barns and stuff so...Yeah. My dad got fiberglass fenders, fiberglass doors, fiberglass hood, fiberglass hood scoop, fiberglass front and back bumpers, fiberglass trunk lid + huge ass wing all for $400, and if I had to guess I'd say my uncle paid $3000 for it at the very least. Plus the remnants of the $7000 paintjob are still on it.

First off, here's the car it's all going on. It's hella further along now than it was in this pic, but I haven't gotten pics of it for probably half a year or more.

And then here's all the parts. The only thing I know how much cost new is the hood scoop in the last pic, my uncle said that was $500 new by itself.

Now I know people who actually care about huge engines and muscle cars and etc etc around here are the exception rather than the rule, but that's how we roll up in my neck of the woods. I just couldn't not brag about that.

I would love to restore an older car. Like a 1968 Camaro or a 1969 Mustang, mmmm.

Found this on the web. It was originally my uncle's drag car, then when my cousin turned I think 16, he gave it to her and she raced it. It's actually pretty well known and really professional and etc, didn't take me any time at all to find a pic of it online. That's the beast of a car the parts came off of. Don't know the 1/4 mile time, but it gets up to 180MPH on 1/4 mile runs.

I have no idea on the doors. But as you can see in that picture, it doesn't have the same huge wing on it so they replaced that, and they got a one-piece tilt fiberglass front end to replace all the other parts.

Doors and bumpers though, I don't know. Must've replaced them with something lighter I can imagine, as I know she's still running that car.

*refers a0 to my infoline*

People do still have barns 'round these parts.

But yeah, they're like super rich and live slightly white-trashy. The new paintjob on the car cost $100,000 alone, yet they live in a doublewide and have acres upon acres strewn with old cars, semis, semi trailers, etc. I dig it. People like that know what's up.

Like my other uncle who lives in a trailer and drives a Corvette. Priorities, man.

I used to do a lot of work on mopars, but I eventually just got tired of searching for the parts and paying big bucks for them. Chevy's are by far the cheapest to fix up, but I'd still chose a mopar over a Chevy.

Sweet roadrunner though, roadrunners are awesome cars!

I don't ever go to the beach so it doesn't matter to me. Plus, that's 20metres long, compared to the miles and miles of beach there is, it's not anything ;P
