You know...I never understood how people think any kind of music is shit. I listen to all kinds of music, all artists. I honestly have yet to meet a song I truly hate from an artist.

I guess I just have a more open mind than others. I'm not trying to insult you or anything....I'm just very very open and accepting of all forms of music mainly because music in a way is just like life and other people. I accept all people even if they come off as abrasive and even if I dislike them because I see redeeming qualities in everyone, just like the way I view music. I see a purpose and reason behind all music....even if I'm not a fan. In a way, it's kinda like each song from each artist is it's own individual identity with it's own unique traits. And to be honest....you'll never hear the same song replicated by another person (unless of course it's intentional, even then there's differences.)

I remember you jabberin about this guy a while back. I remember cause he was an orthodox jew doing reggae.

Cyrix: Soulja Boy?

I think I have a similar view on music as you, if the song sounds good to me I'll listen to it, no matter its genre.

Well I'm not a big fan at all of that song. But Travis Barkers remix of it is on my running playlist because it's just really "angry" so to speak. I like my angry music when I run.

I accept most types of music, I mean I listen to hardcore / gabber and all that the most, but I still will put on some Michael Jackson, Boyz II Men, Beatles, Reggae hell even Frank Sinatra once in a while. I've listened to quite a few of Matisyahu's songs and I can't say I found any of them good at all. No offense to your opinion on the guy, ofcourse. I guess it's just one of those artists I can't stand. . . like Avril Lavigne (spelling), if I hear HE WAS A SKATERBOY coming from my brothers phone one more time next time I see him, I swear I will actually stab him.

When he got big I really thought that song was utter shit. But after listening to the lyrics, mostly those from King Without a Crown, a little closer I really enjoyed it. They played that song on the radio a couple days ago and it made me remember about it. So I'm not too anti-Matisyahu anymore :P

Listen to "Indestructible" from his Youth album. It's another great song. I love the beat.
