This weeks Friday Flashback is actually from Flashback 95.6! Appearing on the radio line up of Grand Theft Auto III this variation of Flashback 95.6 used tracks from the soundtrack of the well known 1983 film "Scarface". The song we have chosen from that playlist is Amy Holland's "She's On Fire".

Busy week all round with the release of Max Payne 3 in North American, European and Australian territories for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (PC players still waiting for the game), and I'm sure a lot of you have read things around the Internet which have not been posted on the main page here (though we do have a Forum Thread open for it), just remember that Max Payne 3 also uses RAGE.
So, quickly on to Friday Flashback, here's a track from GTA2 which was also featured on GTA Advance, from Funami FM, the Yakuza's very own personal Radio Station, we have "Flymutha" by Toys Are Real, a track created in house by Rockstar NYC during the development of GTA2.

The guys over at GameTrailers.com have put up another episode of their Blueprint series, which takes games that have been recently announced or games set to come out where little information is known and compares them to how they could take influence on other games that have been released. This episodes game of choice is the eagerly awaited Grand Theft Auto V, and with with nothing more to go off apart from the first trailer and the official announcement, they do what they can to speculate where the series could go.

Another Original Grand Theft Auto track this week on Friday Flashback, again created by by the fictional band "Slumpussy" we have "This Life" which plays on the Rap Radio Station N-CT FM. Composed and Arranged by Craig Conner with vocals provided by Robert De Negro during the games production in 1997, this track was mainly heard in Liberty City.

Earlier this week Rockstar Games gave the Social Club a complete reboot in preparation for Max Payne 3. The multiplayer crew feature that was promised on Monday is now available on the site.
That's right, you can now create or join your own rough and tumble CREW in preparation for slaughter in Max Payne 3 Multiplayer. Hit the CREW UP button on your profile page and you can browse Featured Crews looking for recruits or invite your mates to join your ranks to blast through Gang Wars and Team Deathmatch together, racking up XP and starting online Feud beefs come next week. Every Social Club member can belong to up to 5 Crews, so form your allegiances wisely. What's more is that Rockstar is advertising that the crews will carry over to Grand Theft Auto V "and beyond." MAY"Second Shift", a series made with GTA IV Grand Theft Auto IV - General News | @ 09:15 PM MDT | By Ash_735
There are lots of Machima directors out there and I'm sure you've all seen many videos created using Grand Theft Auto IV but this one, "Second Shift" by GSE Studio, does a great job of combining a variety of Vehicle Mods, Graphic Mods, Stunt Driving and just flat out Post Editing magic to give it quite a stylised look. The series is dubbed in Polish but is subbed in English, with a few mis-translations here and there but overall nothing to spoil the experience, so if you're a fan of films like The Fast and Furious series, or just want to see a combination of mods on Grand Theft Auto IV used well with a lot of effort put in, this is worth checking out.

Today Rockstar Games revealed it's new design for their Social Club website, with reworked menus and new feature to accommodate for the new "Crews" feature which will be used in Max Payne 3 and Grand Theft Auto V, the new layout is aimed to make it easier to link your games and keep track of what your friends playing.
 The full details of the update are as follow: • YOUR SOCIAL CLUB PROFILE PAGE – Get in there and personalize your own Social Club profile page, complete with status updates, a display of your recent stats and accomplishments across your linked Social Club enabled games, and proper Friend linking with a Wall that updates your Social Club activity and lets you cheer and jeer your mates here at Social Club, as well as easily plan multiplayer sessions or whatever you'd like. • UPDATE YOUR ACTIVITY FEED – Keep tabs on all your Friends latest accomplishments via your real-time activity feed. With the release of Max Payne 3, you'll be able to let Friends know each time you've unlocked a Trophy/Achievement, throw down the gauntlet for a multiplayer session, or see when a friend has added a new soldier to their CREW (come Wednesday). Head to your profile page now at the main Social Club dashboard to get started. • ADD YOUR FRIENDS – You can search and add Friends that are current Social Club members and also find, import and invite mates from your Facebook, Twitter and gaming accounts too. Whether it's to join you to attend the latest Official Social Club Multiplayer Event or to make sure you've got strength in numbers for your Crew - you can now easily recruit up. • LINK IN & LOG IN WITH FACEBOOK OR TWITTER – You can also link in and display your other profiles from Facebook and Twitter (as well as your PlayStation Network IDs and XBL Gamertags) direct to your page and starting Wednesday, you'll be able to share Social Club activity from your Wall to those networks. Friday Flashback going back to GTA2, "All I Wanna Do" by Davidson was originally released early 1999 and is one of the few licenced songs to appear on the radio line up. The song can be heard on multiple stations, including the well know Head Radio, and it stands out for it's recognisable beat which is actually sampled from McFadden & Whitehead's Disco classic "Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now".
